Any private sector people who want to open a scrap center can apply through the Transport Department’s website or in the RTO office. Preparation has started from RTO to set up scrap center. It is expected that soon a scrap center will be opened at some place in the city. Azamgarh’s Divisional Transport Officer Ramvriksh Sonkar says that the scrap policy will benefit the operators as well as the vehicle owner will also get a fair price for his vehicle. Not only this, a certificate will also be given to the vehicle owner, through which he will also get a discount at the showroom while buying a new vehicle.
